Balance
"As we look deeply within, we understand our perfect balance. There is no fear of the cycle of birth, life and death. For when you stand in the present moment, you are timeless." Rodney Yee

Find Peace
"Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world." Mother Teresa

Enlightenment
"The moment of truth, the sudden emergence of a new insight, is an act of intuition. Such intuitions give the appearance of miraculous flashes, or short-circuits of reasoning. In fact they may be likened to an immersed chain, of which only the beginning and the end are visible above the surface of consciousness. The diver vanishes at one end of the chain and comes up at the other end, guided by invisible links." Arthur Koestler
- I am discovering the true nature of my being through meditation and observation.
- Enlightened initiative springs forth as I personally act on what I myself have learned.
- I rejoice in each new day as I know enlightenment is before me.

Language of the Heart
"Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart." Martin Luther King Jr.
- My heart is a myriad of prisms reflecting wisdom and compassion.
- I am lightening up, laughing more, playing more, and fully embracing life.
- My smile is beautiful, because it radiates with natural joy.

Joy
Happiness
"True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing. The great blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not." Seneca
- I am at peace with myself.
- My good comes to me in a steady, unbroken, ever-increasing stream of success, happiness and abundance.
- I am happy and grateful for everything I have and receive daily.

Decisions
"Somewhere along the line of development we discover what we really are, and then we make our real decision for which we are responsible. Make that decision primarily for yourself because you can never really live anyone else's life, not even your own child's." Eleanor Roosevelt
- I take total responsibility for myself and the choices and decisions I make for myself.
- I am opened to new opportunities in my life. I am ready to make a change in the direction towards more happiness.
- I am ready to accept the things I long for.

Life
"Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8 color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64 color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64 color box, though I've got a few missing. It's ok though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8 color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation...so when I meet someone who's an 8 color type...I'm like, hey girl, magenta! and she's like, oh, you mean purple! and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, no--I want magenta!" John Mayer
- I have the power to change the course of my life.
- I am different, but that's okay.
- Beautiful vitality glows within every living cell of my body.

Tension
"Some tension is necessary for the soul to grow, and we can put that tension to good use. We can look for every opportunity to give and receive love, to appreciate nature, to heal our wounds and the wounds of others, to forgive, and to serve."
Joan Borysenko
- Let it go and rediscover peace of mind.
- I am aware of the consequences of my actions.
- I let whatever happens be OK.

Fragile Heart
A place where only silence rules, is where our minds
find peace, a flame of light, a gentle touch, our tender heart seeks love.
Only we know what we are going through, though we triumph daily with our struggles, but even winners can get wounded and need a quiet place to rest.
No one see inside of us, the tears we hide each day.
We think, we feel, we love so deeply, our fragile hearts do break, and so we seek a quiet place to cry for just a while.
Restored we face this world again, a beautiful place this life is with fragile hearts around. A rose within a garden;
It's root for faith,
It's stem for hope,
It's rose for love.
A single rose is pretty on it's own...but more beautiful with dozens more around.
